Perelada
Perelada is a large national park located 150 km of Barcelona where the French border and the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean Sea at the very corner of North-eastern Spain.
The landscape is extraordinary: the high mountains of the Pyrenees and the dry rocky region underneath with almost no trees contrasts with a seaside rich in creeks of deep blue sea.
This small town has many interesting sites to visit: the monastery Sant Pere de Rodes, Cadaques the birthplace of Dalí as well as the Cap de Creus.
The medieval Castle de Peralada, hosts in the summer the Peralada Jazz Festival, the Casino de Peralada, the Museo del Vidrio (Glass Museum), the Museo del Vino (Wine Museum), and an impressive library with over 80,000 volumes of antiquarian books.
