The Port de Barcelona is the second most important in Europe (after Athens) and one of the major Mediterranean maritime destinations in recent years.
It is located close to the city centre, just below Gothic Quarter, near the metro Dressanes (L3) at the end of La Rambla.
Barcelona is one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities and its port handle every year over 1.2 million passengers.
It operates daily services to the Balearic Islands and the main Mediterranean ports (Genoa, Rome, etc) as well as Algiers and other international destinations.
It is also a stop over for many Cruises routes operated by Costa, Royal Caribbean, MSC, etc…
