How to get to the city centre from the airport
Getting from Barcelona El Prat Airport to the city centre is very easy and no matter what transport you choose the journeay time won't be more than 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
The public transport is probably the cheapest way to get into the city centre but not the quickest; the train is quite fast but runs every 30 mins so that the Aurobús is the best choice as it’s more frequent and takes you to Plaça Catalunya stopping at Plaça Espanya metro station.
Train:
The C10 suburban train operated by Renfe runs from the Airport to the city centre Estació de França passing through Sants Estació and Passeig de Graça.
The first train leaves the Airport at 6.00 am and the last at 22.44 pm every 30 mins.
The lenght of the journey is 32 mins total (20 mins to Passeig de Graça).
Price: 2 € or a valid T-10 metro ticket.

Aerobús:
The Aerobús leaves the Airport every 15 mins in the early morning and every 7 mins during the rest of the day in direction of Plaça Catalunya.
The first bus is at 6:00 am while the last one is at 01:00.
The ticket costs 3,90 € one way; 6,70 € return and there is a discount if you have a Barcelona Card.
The leght of the journey is approximately of 30 mins and the intermediate stops are Pl. Espanya and Universitat metro stations.
Night bus:
The night Bus N17 (Nit Bus) leaves the Airport every 20 minutes from 22:05 to 5.05 stopping at Pl. Catalunya and Rondda Universitat.
The ticket price is of 1.30 € (you can also use the T-10) and the journey time depends on traffic conditions and stops requested but to Pl. Catalunya it will take at least half hour.
