This area is considerate the birthplace of modernism par excellence and by many recognized as a big outdoors museum, where one can find most famous set of modernist buildings -Casa Batlló and Pedrera by Antoni Gaudí- as well as not so famous buildings amazingly decorated with modernist glass mosaics, sculptures and woodwork.
