In the most carismathic places of Barcelona you will be able to find special transportation resources as the Tramvia Blau, one of the most ancient of Barcelona or the Funicular of the Montjuic.

Near the sea, and the Port Vell, you can enjoy a boat ride on the "Golondrinas", turistic boats that navegate trhough Bacelonas's litoral.

Also you can enjoy a shopping tour in the Tombus or visit the Magic Mountain in the Tibibus.

El Aerobus

This transportation , is very usefull for turists, it takes you in 30 minutes from Barcelona's Airport until Plaza Catalunia (city center).
This bus runs Monday to Friday from 05:30 am to 01:00am. And on Saturday and holidays from 06:30am. to 01:00am.
The frecuency of this service is every 9 minutes from Monday to Friday and every 12 minutes on Saturdays and Holidays.
The price vary from 3,95€ one way and 6,45€ both ways (ticket valid for one week). There is a 20% discaount for those who owns a Barcelona Card.

The Tramvia Blau

The Tramvia Blau leaves from Plaza Kennedy, on the Tibidabo Avenue and goes up to the Plaza del Doctor Andreu and vice versa. It has a link to the Tibidabo´s funicular and it operates daily in summer, at Easter and Christmas, weekends and holidays.
On the working days and months when the amusement park does not open there is a bus service that makes the same journey.
Its schedule is from 12/04 to 21/04, daily from 10.00am to 18.05h and from 21/06 to 14/09, daily from 10.00am to 20.05h.
Also every Saturday and holidays from 10.00am to 18.05h. On the 01/01 and 25/12: It does not run.
The frequency is every 30 minutes.
The price is : a single ticket € 2.20; roundtrip ticket 3.30 €

The Tibidabo's Funicular

This cable car service starts in Plaza del Doctor Andreu (End of Avenida Tibidabo) and has its final stop at the Plaza del Tibidabo and it has a link to the Tramvia Blau.
The hours of service during the opening months of the amusement park is until 30 minutes after the closure of the park.
Its price varies from 2 € single, 3 € roundtrip.

The Montjuïc's Funicular

This transport connects in two minutes the Parallel with the Cable car of Montjuïc-Montjuic Park. The access is through Paral·lel undreground stop (lines 2 and 3); the ticket of the funicular is integrated into the T10 card.
Timetable: Winter hours: 9:00 to 20:00; (daylight Savings Time) / Spring: 9:00 til 22:00.
Price: The ticket of this funicular is integrated into the card T10.

The Tibibús

In Barcelona there is a bus line that goes from Plaza de Catalunya to Plaza del Tibidabo.
Its daily schedule is from 1 hour before the park open until 30 minutes after its closure. When the park is closed there is no service.
Its frequency during Winter (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays), is every hour.
During Summer, Christmas and Easter, every 30 minutes.
The price per journey is € 2.30.
There is a 25% discount with the Barcelona Card.

Tombus

This Bus follows the commercial route of the city (Barcelona Shopping Line), from the Place Catalonia to the Plaza Pius XII (Diagonal).
This bus has mamy facilities such as conditioned air, room for packages and music. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7,30 to 21,45 h; and Saturdays from 9,30 to 21,20 h
Its frequency is Monday to Friday every 7 minutes and Saturdays every 12-15 minutes. The price is 1.45 €.
There is a 25% discount for the owners of a Barcelona Art Card.

Las Golondrinas

This emblematic boats leave from the Colon Statue and go up to the Escullera, in a route of 35 minutes throughout the Port Vell.
The schedule is in November, December, January, February and March during workable days from 11 to 14 h; and festive days 11:45am to 17 h.
During the months of April, May and June from 11,45 to 19.00 the workable days; and 11 to 18 h the festive days.
July to September: from 11,45 h to 19,30 h. /October: workable days from 11,45 h to 16 h; festive, from 11,45 h to 17 h
The Prices are: adults 4€ and children (4-10 years) 2 €.

The Trimar/Omnibus

A route in catamarans from Colon Statue to the beach of Bogatell, throughout the Port, the Beaches, the Port Olímpic and the Old Port of Barcelona. The total duration is of 1.30h.
Its schedule in April, May and June is from 11,30 to 18,30 h ;
Julio, August and September 11,30 to 19,30 h;

The Trixi

Barcelona was the pioneering city in introducing this new vehicle in its streets: the Trixis.
They are modern tricycles that work like taxis carrying on board and across the streets of Barcelona tourists and visitors. If you see them empty, you can stop them.
The Trixistas or conductors run through different routes in the city and discovers the most interesting points of Barcelona like Cathedral, Colon, Place St. Jaume, MACBA, Pg. St. Joan, Parc of the Ciutadella, Diagonal and the Forum.

The Tombús

This is a bus that does a tour trough the shopping and comercial area of the city (Barcelona Shopping Line), from Plaza de Catalunya to the Plaza Pius XII (Diagonal). This bus has among its facilities: air conditioning, room for your shopping bags and ambient music.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 21.45 pm and on Saturdays from 9.30 am to 21.20 pm.
Its frequency step is Monday through Friday every 7 minutes and Saturdays every 12-15 minutes.

Las Golondrinas
